Mark Slater is mining engineer with over 13 years of experience. He has a proven track record in providing technical and operational support to metals clients; utilising his substantial operational experience to add value to his client’s operations/projects. He is familiar in the mining of Gold, Lead, Zinc, Silver, Copper and Nickel; winning ore through open stoping, remnant pillar, cut-and-fill, and narrow-vein mining techniques.
Mark holds Mine Manager Certificates of Competency across several states in Australia including WA, NSW and SA and is a MAusIMM (CP) and RPEQ. He has assisted clients with underground and open pit study work, strategic mining reviews, life-of-mine planning and operational support. He has also undertaken tender preparation, statutory development-approval processes (within SA and NSW) and project cost estimation. Mark is proficient in a wide range of software including Datamine, Vulcan, Mine2-4D and EPS; and also has experience with Surpac, Ventsim and MineCAD software.
