MEC’s Julia Kouba a Finalist in the 2015 Australian Accounting Awards
MEC Mining’s commercial manager Julia Kouba is a finalist in the prestigious 2015 Australian Accounting Awards.
The national awards program recognises excellence across the accounting industry.
Up to 103 finalists have been shortlisted across 21 categories.
Armed with QUT degrees in law and business (accountancy) and more than 10 years’ experience in accounting, Julia, 34, is one of only four finalists in the Executive of the Year category.
This year’s awards program received a record number of submissions from Australia’s leading accounting professionals and firms. Winners will be announced via a five-star gala dinner at The Westin Sydney on Friday, October 30.
Charged with MEC’s financial control, contract negotiations and plays an active role with the board on MEC’s strategic direction, Julia is an indispensable member of our team, said managing director Simon Cohn.
