Simon Cohn

Simon has over 17 years experience in the mining industry and has worked in a range of open cut and underground metalliferous and coal mines throughout Australia and overseas. He specialises in operations improvement, mine design and technical services team management. His areas of expertise range from contract management; mine design; cost estimation; truck shovel planning and ops; project planning and delivery through to engineering project management.

Richar Guerra
BEng (Mining)

Richar joined MEC in 2014 and brings over 20 years experience within the Mining Industry, working on a range of commodities such as tin, gold, iron ore and coal. His expertise are truck and shovel, dragline; IPCC systems; pit design; short, medium, long term planning; cost modelling and economic evaluation of projects (pre-feasibility and feasibility) and pit optimisation.

MEC Mining is a mining consultancy specialising in metals, coal, mine planning, optimisation and geology.
