We’ve heard it all too often, “fail to plan – plan to fail” and it rings so true across all facets of the business process.
At MEC, we believe in a holistic approach to identify the strengths and weaknesses of Management Operating Systems (MOS), particularly within mining organisations.
We start with a characterisation of the corework processes using a gap analysis tool to rank and weight individual MOS elements e.g. people, time, cost etc.
Using a collaborative approach, it may become apparent which areas of the MOS could be “bottlenecking” the plan.
The goal is to achieve a “Best of the Best” (BoB) approach to improve MOS effectiveness.
