Daniel founded MEC in Mackay in 2005 after working in various open-cut coal mines in the Bowen Basin from 2001 to 2004. With dual degrees in Mining Engineering and Business, Daniel specialises in operations improvement, mine design, and technical project management. As a business founder, mining investor, and property developer, he is a passionate leader.

Since its inception, MEC has become one of Queensland’s largest mining consultancies, thriving under Daniel’s leadership through various commodity cycles.
