MEC Mining is taking on a fresh look and feel as part of our company’s expansion in the resources and infrastructure sectors, CEO Christofer Catania announced today.
“As part of our transformative rebranding process the company will now be known simply as ‘MEC’ and take on a refreshed appearance,” Mr Catania said.
“The past 24 months have symbolised a new era for MEC as we expand our capabilities, services, and industry reach.
“Our updated brand identity will signify a strategic evolution for MEC – aligning seamlessly with our commitment to innovation and growth.”
MEC’s capabilities were enhanced with their recent acquisition of Queensland-based environmental consultancy METServe, and the acquisition of Western Australia’s Integrated Geological Mining Services (IGMS) in 2021. Both acquisitions are set to strengthen MEC’s growing service capabilities across Australia, Africa, Europe, and South-East Asia.
Prior to this, Mr Catania and his team had been diversifying and growing MEC’s offerings – establishing an underground metal, geotechnical division and a specialist advisory services subsidiary for the company.
“Our team members have diverse skill sets across a wide range of industries, meaning they can collaborate to provide best-practice solutions across the mining and resources, infrastructure and civil, along with energy and processing sectors,” Mr Catania said.
