We’re pleased to announce that Luke Rosengren, who joined us as a Mining Engineer in 2017, has been appointed as MEC Mining’s Senior Underground Coal Mining Engineer. Luke will work alongside our Principal Mining Engineer Bruce Robertson and head up our underground coal mining team.

Luke is an experienced mining engineer who’s dedicated to delivering excellence in mine planning and project management. He has significant experience in longwall operations across the Bowen Basin, and over the past year has been based in MEC’s Brisbane office, undertaking mine planning and various studies. His expertise spans risk management processes, continuous improvement strategies and mine planning software in underground mining.
