In June 2023, MEC completed an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for the Canbelego Copper Project, located in the Cobar region of New South Wales, Australia. The updated estimate for the Canbelego Main Lode includes 1.83 million tonnes at 1.74% copper, containing approximately 31,800 tonnes of copper metal. This represents a significant 77% increase in contained copper compared to the previous 2010 estimate.

“We’re focused on expanding our copper inventory, and this new MRE for Canbelego’s Main Lode is a solid foundation for further exploration and development,” said Helix Resources Managing Director Mike Rosenstreich. The updated resource provides a strong platform for advancing potential development opportunities while continuing to explore the region’s untapped potential.
